 Hi there

Here is an update on the Lustre 2.4 release.

Landings
========

-The most significant of these is arguably the latest change under LU-1606 because it resolved the build breakage for e2fsprogs

Testing
=======

-Testing on the 2.3.54 tag completed; testing on 2.3.56 tag is underway
-Dedicated testing  on the Hyperion cluster is underway against the 2.3.56 tag; testing is continuing over the US long weekend but results will only be analyzed early next week

Blockers
========

-There have been a number of regular failures since  master auto test runs switched from SLES11 SP1 to SLES11 SP2 clients; there are candidate fixes for these being tracked under LU-2273/2181/1783

Other
=====

-ZFS testing is being done in parallel with ldiskfs testing for all uploads into gerrit but only the latter affects the ability to land while configuration issues are being worked through with the former
-The master branch is open for feature landings.
