OpenSFS participants,
 
Recruiting enthusiastic members of the community to serve in leadership positions within our working groups is one of our most important responsibilities as your board of directors. Serving as working group chair can be a source of both personal and professional growth and puts you in the driver's seat of the open source scalable file systems community.
 
Your OpenSFS board is seeking out nominees who are willing and able to serve as chair of the Technical Working Group. The Technical Working Group's primary role is to advance the Lustre file system by:
 
- Gathering Requirements
- Generating Statements of Work/Request for Proposals
- Developing Resource Allocation Proposals
- Working with Contractors on Technical Requirements
- Creating High Level Estimate of Impact / Costs to Meet Requirements
- Provide technical oversite of development contracts 
- Meet regularly with OpenSFS board members 
 
The OpenSFS Technical Working Group has and continues to play a leadership role in advancing the Lustre file system, directly funding new features including high-impact capabilities such as Distributed Namespace (DNE) and the online file system checker. The TWG chair has a significant role in shaping the future of Lustre.
 
The Technical Working Group Chair's roles and responsibilities includes:
- Organizing TWG activities including requirements gathering, contract oversight (technical), reviewing proposed solution architectures and providing high-level oversight of the development of new features to meet requirements. The OpenSFS TWG chair is also responsible for organizing regular community teleconferences to provide a forum for the discussion community feature development and to keep abreast of development of new features within the Lustre community as a whole.
 
Eligible chairs include employees or contractors of the Promoter and Adopter level participants. These include: 
Cray, DataDirect Networks, Intel, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Xyratex, EMC, Indiana University, the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, NetApp, and Sandia National Laboratories.
Any OpenSFS participant may nominate an eligible chair for consideration and we very much appreciate your participation in this critical event.

I don't think there is a slave at iu, or if there is a slave ot isn't talking to the Jenkins used by our test infrastructure.

Hi Cory,

Maloo allows upload from anybody. Either manually via the results->upload options in the menu – or using the maloo_upload.sh script in lustre/tests directory, you have to download a maloo.rc file from the results->upload page. If you run tests via the auster script it can call maloo_upload.sh for you.

Cliff White does this all the time with test results from Hyperion.
