Hi All,

Here are some thoughts/questions on some of the current marcom/brand
issues. Hopefully this helps the conversation along.

Color Choice
I apologize this has bee more complicated than it should be. Looking
at palettes might be causing unneccessary confusion. The goal should
probably be to determine what color is OpenSFS? (e.g. IBM is blue,
Oracle is red, Symantec is yellow). Recommendation: Shay and I should
pick three colors and send out for discussion.

Site Changes for OpenSFS.org

Thoughts on quick fixes to the site that seem like they could improve
the appearance immediately:

Limit Top Nav Bar to only a few high level options, keeping it to one line. e.g.

> Home
> Organization
> Participation (maybe shorten to "Join")
> Groups
> News
> Resources

- Re-org the right hand column and add links in these sections.
- Add company logos in an animated gif or flash item on Home or
Participation page.
- Sprinkle some of the tradeshow graphics around the site.

Each of these tasks can be done in short order, if the look still
isn't professional enough we can look into updating the template or a
complete site redesign.
