Folks, 

I can provide a brief update on the RFP but I cannot get into the details of the RFP content of course. 

We have largely completed the full RFP package, the technical descriptions have been completed as well as sample statements of work and proposal preparation instructions. We are finalizing review of a sample contract and review criteria now. I expect that the RFP package will be complete by sometime next week. 

The one outstanding item however is finalizing the OpenSFS budget. I have been working with our Treasurer to get this budget completed and the BOD is scheduled to discuss this on Tuesday and I hope that we will have at least a high-level budget that can be agreed upon very soon.

Andreas you are correct. Things have been moving slowly but I believe we are closing in on releasing the RFP.
