Thanks for your interest in the 2.2 release.

The issue that you mention was of course reviewed and, despite being 
reported after the code freeze with testing at an advanced stage we 
would have included a fix for it if it was relevant for production 
systems but it is only possible to hit this issue when running with 
kernel debug options on so we decided it was ok to defer it until after 
2.2 was GA.

Please note that this issue has been marked as low priority rather than 
a blocker and was not mentioned as a possible blocker in my last update 
two weeks ago. If you ever see something that you think should be urgent 
then I encourage you to speak up promptly so that we have time to fix it 
before the release goes out (if need be).
