I had this discussion some time ago with Oleg. Libsysio actually exist
outside of the tree at http://sourceforge.net/projects/libsysio/. We
could have it be pulled automatically when some one wants to build
liblustre instead of it sitting in the tree. In order to do this some
one would have to maintain libsysio at sf. Currently their are fixes in
the lustre tree that are not upstream.
