Perhaps I was nit-picking on that one.  You can certainly do that with 
DIX+T10 PI.  But I think that technically T10 PI only covers HBA to 
storage, and DIX (created by Oracle) defines the interfaces between an 
"application" an the HBA.

I retract that complaint.
